Just wanted to share some of my favourite pieces from Kat Von D's new clothing line. Usually it's a chore trying to find clothes I can wear to work that are all black, but still super interesting and fun, but with duds like these it's become a lot easier. Kat's best known for her work as a tattoo artist, but has recently gone the way of most celebs and released her own fragrance, and popular cosmetics line (available at Sephora). Naturally clothing was the next step (which is excellent because I've tried a couple times to locate similar items to what I've seen her wearing on TV).
Things to expect:
- Leather leggings
- Cutouts and distressing
- Studs and chains with a more modern look
- Military inspiration with a modern Victorian flair
- Knitwear and lace
Though only the fall/ winter collection has been launched, for spring/ summer we can expect some gun-metal greys, more blacks, white, red and blues with more emphasis on cut-out and crop tops, studded shorts, and lighter-weigh blazers. All in all I'm excited to see where this goes.
